As a BC native, Raquel understands both the allure and wisdom of owning property in Vancouver.
Since buying her first home in 1992 at the age of 21, Raquel has become well-versed in the varied stages and different types of home ownership. She has bought, flipped, lived in and rented out more than 15 properties while also enjoying success as an entrepreneur, having successfully established and sold five different businesses.
Starting her career in real estate in 2007, Raquel quickly found her niche—helping people find their dream home while ensuring they maximize the financial benefits of property ownership. And after three decades of selling and investing in the Vancouver market, Raquel is convinced that no other city in the world compares in terms of beauty, diversity or real estate opportunity.
Raquel has a warm, engaging style that instantly resonates. She’s a world class connector whose ethics and professional efforts over the last thirty years have created long-standing relationships within the Vancouver real estate and business communities.
Helping clients with one of the most important decisions they’ll make requires an impeccable knowledge of needs and wants—Raquel recognizes the importance of an individualized experience that lends itself to finding that perfect home. She skillfully guides clients through the often difficult process with ease. Raquel applies her talents and leverages her experience and extensive network on behalf of her clients.
Raquel believes happy clients are the best resume, and always looks forward to hearing from them, years later, “Buying that property with your help was one of the best decisions we have ever made!”
When not selling real estate, Raquel can be found walking her dogs along Vancouver’s beautiful sea wall, running through Stanley Park, connecting with friends for a spin or yoga class at the gym, or paddle boarding at one of her many favorite local beaches.
Raquel loves to travel and entertain, and enjoys cooking for her newlywed daughter (and newly extended family), and large circle of friends. Raquel’s passion for building strong communities extends beyond her work as a realtor—she is a long-time volunteer for the Canadian MS Society, and is passionate about connecting newly diagnosed patients with community resources that can help improve their health and quality of life.
